This is a wonderful reminder to let children take their time. It took all my will not to interrupt my daughter on her exploring walks. When I could let go, we always had a great time. Awwwww, I really liked this post. Childhood should be about simple pleasures- like mud, and eating worms I read an interview with Johnny Depp today, and he said he learns so much from his kids, just watching them grow and interact, but doesn’t think they learn anything from him. Sometimes I feel the same way- my kids are always showing me things (especially in the outdoors) that I would never have noticed.

One of my favorite pictures of my older son is of him jumping in a large mud puddle at the end of our driveway. I haven't been brave enough to let all three of them try it at once yet... but maybe I will this spring! .-= Sarah´s last blog ..My special place =-.

Thanks for the reminder. It’s so easy to get caught up in the week’s schedule and forget to stop and enjoy childhood while it’s here.
